The white building behind us is where my ancestors lived generations ago. It's now a storefront on the bottom and apartments up top, but in its day was a beautiful single family home known as "Nielsen's Corner."

wow Erika, that is SOO cool. Now I wish I had visited Grimstaad when I was in Norway last year.. Oh, and BTW.. I am really anxious to hear what this news was about Dave's family, so post it as soon as he lets you! -Matt
